Boeing 737 MAX family aims at offering greatest flexibility, reliability and efficiency in the single-aisle market. The family has advanced flight deck, easy to operate, less maintenance, and is designed to travel far. Till now, four variants of the 737 MAX have been seen. 737 MAX 7, MAX 8, MAX 9 and MAX 10. The new series was announced in 2011, and the first maiden flight was operated in 2016. About 737 MAX 8 737 MAX 8 was the first variant developed in this series. The firm configuration for the 737 MAX 8 The series gained certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in 2017, and Malindo Air was the company to operate first commercial 737 MAX 8 in 2017, between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. 737 MAX 8 series carry 178 passengers with 2- class seating. The variant is designed for maximum seating of 200 passengers, and has an additional mid cabin exit. The product has shown about 14% reduction in carbon emissions and 40% smaller noise footprint.
