PART 1: Correlation Analysis

This part of the project is about correlation and the construction of a scatter diagram or plot. All the groups of students should use the same dataset to answer all the questions here.

Question 1: A Quantitative Methods instructor at Higher Colleges of Technology would like to investigate the relationship (if any) between the number of optional homework problems students completed during the semester and their final course grade. To carry out the investigation, the instructor randomly selected 22 students for the study and asks them to keep track of the number of these problems completed during the course of the semester. At the end of the class each student’s total number of optional homework problems completed is recorded along with their final grade. The data is provided in the excel spreadsheet (Correlation Analysis Dataset). Use the dataset provided to answer the following questions. Students should report both the EXCEL spreadsheet of their results and the word document showing the analysis.
