Gender Inequality in Japan, China, and South Korea

Objectives

This research project examines gender inequality in higher education in Japan, China, and South Korea.

The project objectives are:

• To investigate the impact of culture on gender inequality in higher education in Japan, China, and South Korea

• To examine the role of politics in addressing gender inequality in higher education in these countries

• To determine the current state of gender inequality in higher education in Japan, China, and South Korea

Research Questions

Specific research questions are as follows:

• What is the current status of gender inequality in higher education in Japan, China, and South Korea?

• How do government policies and actions address gender inequality in higher education in these countries?

• How do cultural differences affect gender inequality in higher education in Japan, China, and South Korea?
