How are logframes used in project planning and how do you see them interacting/overlapping with the Theory of Change concept.

A logframe or a logical framework is a tool which helps in successful planning and implementation of a project.Logframes help in project planning by laying out the goals (such as overall aim, outputs), ways to reach those goals(activities) and verifying the achievements through various indicators. Theory of change focuses on the causal aspect of any intervention, that is how a specific intervention may lead to a specific outcome, this allows project managers to draw contingency plan.Logframes and the theory of concept overlaps in the sense that the theory of concept allows project managers to take into account activities which could change the course of project and subsequent outcomes and as such there are indicators in logframes which allows project managers to see whether a specific action is changing outcomes and what can be done to ensure that the effect of this action is minimized.(
