Question

I find the first speech by Malala Yousafzai effective as she

discusses the inequality in education and children's rights in

general. What I like about the speech by Malala is how she

uses pathos and style cues to grab the audience's attention.

She is able to persuade the audience to see things from her

perspective by first thanking everyone. This encourages the

audience to listen to her and make them feel valued.

Additionally, she is also able to connect and relate to her

audience as she speaks in a clear and powerful voice, thus

grabbing the audience's attention. She also uses a passionate

and thought-provoking speaking style.
