4.1. The development of gross motor abilities can be encouraged by constructing an obstacle course outside using natural materials (Davies, 1996, p. 37). To create obstacles, I should gather some sticks or smaller logs. Then I will put it anywhere in the garden but the matter that I will keep in mind is that the area ought to be uncluttered. I should put the child to the test by having them briefly balance on the stick using either one foot or both. Their sense of self-worth and confidence is impacted by their ability to strike a balance. Regarding the water play area, I should set up an elevated trough since it allows multiple youngsters to play together at the same time. Then I should load it with water. I will try to make this play more interesting by utilizing elements of nature such as sand, flowers, leaves, and pebbles. During the entire process, I should keep in mind that there are no pointed items involved in this process. I think, children will be better able to develop their sensory exploration skills if they are aware of which of the two options floats and which one sinks. They acquire active exploring methods, as well as thinking and reasoning strategies. As per my prediction, children of Grade R are more likely to engage in social and cooperative play when they are participating in water play as part of a group activity (Mphahlele & Phatude, 2018, pp. 31-33). 4.2. Accidents can happen to children who are not being supervised when they are playing alone. Like in the picture, During play, the youngster runs the risk of ingesting the toys' small parts or of sustaining an injury to his eyes from the pointed ends of the various toys. Therefore, if the infant is left unattended, there is a significant likelihood that she will get an injury. Teachers of students in grade R are required to use play-based learning and interactive activities in order to introduce their students to language in a natural environment (Mphahlele & Phatude, 2018, p. 16). In addition, one of the primary responsibilities of a teacher of grade R is to familiarise students with the following aspects of mathematics through the use of play-based activities: space and shape (geometry); measurement; numbers, operations, and relationships Due to the fact that the photo has a variety of toys of varying sizes, it is possible that the youngster could suffocate on any one of them if they were not closely supervised. In addition, if the child is left unattended, they run the risk of getting poked in the eyes by the pointy ends of the toys. It's probable that the instructor isn't performing her duties as a structured and appropriate way to supervise her kids as she should be. This could be the result of a lack of relevant skills or a refusal to fulfil the responsibilities of the teacher. If I had been in this circumstance, there are two things that I would have done differently: First, I would have maintained a close focus on each individual child, and Second, I would not have included toys that were either little or pointed because they posed a risk of injury to the children.
