The paper can relate to material discussed or read but should be primarily about some topic, subject,
or aspect related to leadership or marketing.
The essence of the piece should add to the body of knowledge rather than repeat what has already
been written by others.
Stories and personal examples of effective leadership or marketing will be more interesting than
presenting what has already been written by others.
Take the time in preparing the paper to examine other aspects of leadership or marketing not fully
covered but of interest or importance to your own development.
The student should demonstrate original thought, additional research, and command of the subjects
discussed.
Student should also present their own insights and understanding of the topic, adding to the overall
body of knowledge on the subject of leadership and management, particularly in the construction
industry.
