At the small research firm where I now work, I am responsible for gathering information to be used in surveys. It seems to me that data collecting is mostly an individual effort, with the remaining personnel providing assistance. The incentive system or pay-for-performance system is something that may be used in a small business that operates in the research and study sector. It is possible to pay the workers who are responsible for the data collecting for the surveys a predetermined sum of money for each and every survey that they successfully finish. The other half of the workers, those who are in charge of administration and supervision, have the option of receiving a predetermined sum of money for each and every job that they successfully do. This strategy would not only encourage the workers to put in more effort but will also assist the organization in reducing costs. Because the workers will have the impression that the firm values the contributions they make, they will be more likely to remain employed by the business for a longer length of time. However, theories tend to oversimplify the complex dynamics at play when individuals interact in groups. The ideas may oversimplify human behaviour. For instance, it's possible that variables like peer approval and a sense of community are more important than financial gain in terms of driving people's behaviour. Furthermore, not all businesses will benefit from a pay-for-performance or incentive scheme. Some studies (Petacchi, 2013; Wood, 2018) have shown that this sort of system might reduce morale and job satisfaction among workers. There is a good chance that the behaviours and procedures at my work are unique in comparison to those at other companies. Every single company is one of a kind and has its own culture, set of values, and objectives.
