1.0 How to develop time management

In order to improve time management, the first step one should take is to find out where he or she is currently spending the most time. This way, it will become much easier to take the next step forward. The next step has to be creating a schedule. Using a to-do list or even using popular time management apps such as Google Tasks or Tick Tick will allow an individual to manage time better and use technology to its full potential to manage time. After creating a schedule, prioritizing each task in the right order will be the next. Prior experience will play a major role here in this step. Focusing on one task at a time and avoiding multitasking are also crucial steps to manage time (Dagher, 2022). Also, taking regular breaks will increase productivity and thus, improve time management skills.

2.0 Importance of time management in the workplace

In the modern day scenario, time management in the workplace can bring a lot of benefits to the table. First and foremost, time management will increase productivity at work. Being productive will allow an individual to do error free work by taking lesser time. This way time wasting can be reduced significantly and that saved time can further be used in a variety of other activities in and outside the workplace. Managing time properly will also enable an employee to give more time to important tasks (Kashyap, 2022). This way the performance quality of an employee will improve drastically. Another big advantage of managing time properly is that it will also allow an employee to catch the attention of the higher authority and get the opportunity for quicker and smoother career growth. Time management skills will also allow an employee to build self confidence. Time management skills will also make sure that an employee is dealing with workplace stress pretty well.

3.0 Ways to evaluate the level of time management

In order to evaluate the level of time management skill, an individual should determine a short list of key areas where he or she wishes to improve (Kukreja, 2021). Measuring progress is very important and that is keeping a log of where the individual is spending time is vital. Find flaws and continue to improve the level of those flaws again from the beginning (Davidson, 2017). This way the level of time management can be evaluated.
