Project 3: News Paper Template Analysis / Design For this project, you are asked to select any newspaper or magazine that is published in Kuwait, and you will need to make an in-depth analysis of its template, and this means that you need to make a word document including, but is not limited to, all the following information: The width and height of the news paper Margin sizes The number of columns used Number of pages The number of fonts used throughout the news paper The number of different formatting styles (Headings, body texts, Captions, etc...) And anything else you can find that is related to the template of the newspaper. After you are done with the analysis, you will need to re-design the whole template for this publication, new size, new grid, and new character and paragraph styles for all the titles, captions, and body text... And using your newly designed template setting, you will need to create an 8-16 page layout for a mockup newspaper, using actual text and images. Your final submission will be a word document listing all your findings of the analysis, and an InDesign file that has 16 pages designed with the new template, including all the character and paragraph styles that you created for this new template.
