The lower section of the hopper in Part A is connected to a vertical chute to drop the oranges to a large steel container (Figure 2). The quality of an orange depends upon its firmness which can be correlated to its bounce. It has been found experimentally that oranges that bounce to a height of 0.1 m<H' <0.2 m when released from the end of the vertical chute at height of H = 1 m are accepted for processing. Using this information,determine the orange's range of allowable coefficient of restitution. Propose a method that can separate the good and bad oranges. State all assumptions used in the analysis.
