Question

You are interested in the undergraduate majors of students now enrolled in a master's School

Psychology program. You hypothesize, based on population norms, that 90% of your sample

will have majored in psychology during undergraduate studies, and the remaining 10% will have

majored in education, philosophy, and human sciences, with equal expected frequencies within

the 10% of the population in the latter groups (e.g., 3.33% for each major). You collect the

following data:

Psychology

190

Education

40

Philosophy

20

Human Sciences

30

Run the appropriate analyses to answer your research question. Then, complete an APA-style

Results section write up, using the examples in the book as a template. Your write-up should

include each of the results that are required for reporting, according to the APA publication

manual. If expected frequencies are not equal, make sure to follow the book directions when

running analyses. Submit both the Jamovi output and the Results write up for full credit.
