Start by a mesh size of 10 mm and compare nodal and element plots of von Mises stress distribution. You should reduce the mesh size and repeat the investigation until the results converge to three significant figures. You should also check the integrity of your model by calculating the vertical force and comparing it to reaction forces in your model resubs.
