in the figure below. In this situation, the magnitude of the vertical component of the lift force

must equal the bat's weight. The horizontal component of the force provides the centripetal

acceleration. If the bat's mass is 0.030 kg and the radius of the curve is 5.7 m, calculate its

speed.
