1 Calculate the estimated duration of the project based on the individual task estimates and identify the critical path.

2 Establish the existing resource loadings for each task in the project, in order to identify if are source problem exists.

3 Allocate staff based on the constraints shown below, in order to resolve the resource constraints,with regards to the critical path.

4 Be careful not to over allocate staff - staff get paid if allocated to a task even if there is no work,however under-allocation represents falling behind schedule.

5 Be prepared to allocate staff to the project on a day by day basis on individual weekly schedule forms

6 Expect a report form each week indicating the percentage complete for each task.

7 Use this report to adjust your schedule for the following week until the project is completed.

8 Maximum staff headcount = 8.

Staff will not work on 2 tasks in the same day for efficiency reasons. No fractions of staff!
