1) He crushed the pharynx, or throat region of the Prichett. The throat region is made up of smooth muscles and asthma patients possess fragile and sensitive throat/pharynx smooth muscles. It is highly sensitive to allergens. The irritation due to the atomic bomb exposure (allergen) makes Pritchett’s pharynx or throat compressed and narrows the airway.
