Horizontal beam (ABC) is subjected to a vertical force F = 5 kN. The profile of beam ABC is rectangular

(10 x 50 mm), and it is supported by four (4) rectangular profiles, each with dimensions of (8 x 36

mm). The pins at joints B, C, D, and E have a diameter of 8 mm.

Examine the structural integrity based on the following material values: allowable normal stress is

150 MPa, allowable shear stress is 90 MPa, and the corresponding allowable bearing stress (edge

compression) is 230 MPa.
