related to the field of safety.

Briefly skim or read several articles that interest you try to look at

articles from both trade journals and academic journals, paying attention

to the characteristics of the writing, format, etc. for each type of article.

2. Summarize and critique an article from a trade journal. Identify

the strengths and weaknesses.

3. Summarize and critique an article from an academic journal.

Identify the strengths and weaknesses.

Each critique should be 2-3 pages, double-spaced, in 11-point Times

New Roman font. Critiqued articles must be published within past 5

years. Articles must be cited at the end.
