Step 1: Decide where you will journal
Your wellness journal (WJ) can be a series of emails to yourself where you reply to each entry daily. It could be an old or brand-new notebook. It can be an online document. Choose whatever is comfortable to you and appeals to your imagination. But please note that you will need to upload images each week for an assignment, so think of that when choosing your journaling document.
Step 2: Schedule a 10-minute time slot to write in your WJ every day.
Early morning works for some people. Then end of your day works for others. Just ensure that you set aside 10 minutes to get your thoughts together in a quiet space where you can sit and write uninterrupted.
Step 3: Write down questions that you will ask yourself.
A WJ is a way for you to introduce yourself to yourself. Write questions that you can flip back to for reference. Examples: What do I want to accomplish today? What was the best thing that

Step 3: Write down questions that you will ask yourself.
A WJ is a way for you to introduce yourself to yourself. Write questions that you can flip back to for reference. Examples: What do I want to accomplish today? What was the best thing that happened to me today? What do I want to do next? What do I want to accomplish tomorrow? What puzzled me? Pick one question every night to focus on. Write down the little things that come to your mind when you read the question. Read the previous day's entry to build continuity.
Step 4: Tabulate your success; brainstorm how to move on from failure.
Use your WJ to write down your daily successes. When you look back, you'll be impressed with all the things you accomplished in a short time. If there were failures, brainstorm how to move past them. Acknowledge your small successes every day.
