1. During your first grade ELA lesson two students of yours,

Austen and Aiden become disruptive.

While you're redirecting Austen, Aiden has started running around

the class with a chair. How Would you regain control of your

classroom? Make sure your response is detailed.

2. The day after report cards go home, a parent calls you upset

saying, my child received straight A's on her last report card, but

now it's mostly B's and C's. She wants to know what is going on.

"Why didn't you let me know? We need to meet immediately to

discuss this problem. I am sick and tired of the school system

failing our children." How would you approach this concern?

3. You noticed the seating arrangement in your classroom is not

conducive to optimal student engagement, however when you

bring this to your co-teacher's attention he is not receptive to this

idea and likes the current room set-up. How do you resolve this

difference of opinion?

4. The principal informs you that due to budget constraints you are

required to work a modified schedule two days out of the week,

9am - 5:30pm, however you realise you have a scheduling

conflict. How do you communicate your inability to meet this

request to your administrator?
