We can learn about other cultures in courses or reading books about those cultures. However, when interacting with someone or a group of people from another culture it adds the aspect of two very different views, dynamics, politics, faith, and customs. Personally, when working with clients of a diverse population it is essential to see their differences not as a challenge or threat but rather as see their uniqueness and to learn from each client and how they can prepare you and challenge you to be a better practitioner/clinician. This can lead
‹ becoming a better provider that any client can trust.
