Some knowledge, skills and behaviors strengths relating to the nursing field that emerged during my clinical experience are communication knowledge, empathy, cultural awareness, ethical behaviors with my patients and advocating for the patient by collaborating with my co- workers. When I'm caring for my patient I used therapeutic communication by using active listening, using open-ended questions or sit with them in silence with the patient so I can better understanding of the patient, touch on the needs of the patient and help build a trustful relationship between patient and nurse. Some of my strengths in knowledge are diabetes management, pharmacology, TBI injuries and patient education 3.
