a. Use an oscilloscope to measure the peak-to-peak ripple voltage in the load. Is

it as you would expect?

b. Change the capacitance to 100 μF and 300 μF, and measure the peak-to-peak

ripple in both cases. Plot the ripple voltage as a function of 1/C, apply a linear

fit and comment on the value of the slope

c. Double the load DC voltage by (i) changing the turns ratio, (ii) inserting a

clamper between the transformer and rectifier
