cycle are 100 kPa and 290 K, respectively. At the end of the heat addition, the temperature is 2000 K.

The compression ratio is 20. Sketch the process on a P-V diagram and T-s diagram. Using the cold-air

standard analysis, determine (i) pressure and temperature at the end of each process, (ii) cut-off ratio,

(iii) heat addition and rejection, in kJ/kg, (iv) work produced during the cycle, in kJ/kg, and (v) thermal
