deviation for the class were 71 marks and 18 marks, respectively. In her second

"Statistics" test, Mary scored 66 marks. The mean and standard deviation for the

class were 53 marks and 14 marks, respectively. In which test did Mary do better

relative to the rest of the class? Explain your reasoning.
