Giving a well thought out, vocally, and visually appealing presentation to your colleagues, business stakeholders, and customers is a valuable skill in your career toolbox. This assignment will prepare you to successfully deliver prepared spoken messages to specific audiences and for specific purposes. You will apply effective speaking techniques, build your confidence, and manage anxiety. When giving your presentation, you will also practice using your voice and body language in a manner that engages your audience. You are encouraged to use visuals to support key messages in your presentation. How to Proceed 1. Review your notes on giving effective presentations. 2. Read through the scenario provided. Scenario You are a member of a volunteer board of Student Life, a non-profit organization at Extended Education. The organization has received an anonymous donation of $100,000.
