Ans: I agree with Celli's statement. Benigni had the potential and talent to show harsh reality to the public in a comedic manner such that the message was delivered smoothly but without affecting the intensity. However, he also cared about public approval and his works were influenced by that. Thus, it is safe to say that the movies show the Fascist image of Italy rather than as a Victim. For example, Guido's Uncle's reaction to his house being vandalized shows that he was used to being looked down on as Jew.
