applications:

A. Measuring flow rate in a pipe with a larger flow rate and

minimal straight sections.

B. A high pressure and temperature flow in a pipe with solid

particulates.

3. A venturi meter has a larger cross sectional area of 0.045m²

and a smaller cross sectional area of 0.0018m². The

differential pressure across the venturi tube is calculated at

11kPa. The density of water flowing through the tube is

1000kgm and the discharge coefficient is 0.87. Calculate the

volume flow rate.
