Role of organizational stakeholders

Organizations, individuals, and groups are the primary stakeholders that can impact the company's mission and vision and can be responsible for the firm performance. There are three categories of stakeholders such as capital market stakeholders, organizational stakeholders, and capital market stakeholders. Suppliers, union committees, and shareholders are the product market shareholders. Companies are run and managed by stakeholders and without stakeholders, the existence of the company is not possible. Financial institutions and shareholders are the capital market stakeholders. Banks provide loans to business entities so that they can smoothly run the organization. Though the lending rate is high the needs of the company are fulfilled. Executive managers, non-executive managers, and employees are the organizational stakeholders. Consumers and the government are also considered to be the major stakeholders that contribute to the revenue of the organization. The government is also considered to be one of the main stakeholders as the government expects direct and indirect tax from the companies. Shareholders and investors invest capital in the company in return for dividends and percentages in the profit. The board of directors is also an organizational stakeholder and major decisions about the company are taken by the board of directors such as investment decisions, amalgamation or merger decisions, selection of potential supplier decisions, etc. The labor force is provided by employees due to which the organization’s goals and objectives are achieved. Big brands such as Walmart, Zara, and Hyatt incur huge expenditures for employee recruitment and selection and after selecting the employees they are trained by qualified experts on how to assist the organization in fulfilling their targets and objectives. Employees can be skilled employees, unskilled employees, contractual employees, or part-time employees. Seminars and official training programs are conducted by Big brands to train these types of employees. Non-executive managers are also considered to be important for company growth as they handle complex tasks for the organization and they allow the executive managers to take crucial decisions for the enterprise. Decisions related to purchasing, selling, and negotiating are taken by non-executive managers.
