Based on their thermo-mechanical behavior, and on other factors such as cost (as well as some things not mentioned here), which of the following polymers would be suitable for molding into the shape of a 12oz. barbecue-flavored yogurt container? LDPE, HDPE, PP, PTFE, PVC, PET, acrylic, polycarbonate, polystyrene. (a) Make a careful and clear list of the factors that you are considering. There should be at least six factors on your list. (b) Make a table with one row for each of the above polymers and one column for each of the factors in part (a). Fill in the table with whatever quantitative or qualitative information you can find.
