of the empirical correlation of Gnielinski. Discuss the results.

b) Assume that the tube is a vertically-oriented helically coiled with a coil radius of 15 cm and a

pitch of 4 cm. Calculate the heat transfer coefficient using an appropriate correlation.

c) Repeat part (b), this time using the correlation of Gnielinski along with a friction factor that is
