Question

A coaster is momentarily at rest at the bottom of the first hill of a roller coaster track (point A). At that moment, the coaster is at rest. A chain

system does work on the coaster to bring it up to point B, where the coaster has 60 thousand joules of gravitational potential energy. The coaster is momentarily at rest at point B. On the bar graph below, slide the bars to indicate the quantity of mechanical energy (ME) of the coaster at point A, the mechanical energy of the coaster at point B, and the quantity of work done by the chain system on the coaster.
