Problem VI: (20 Marks, 4 Marks each): Consider the N-channel MOSFET amplifier given below.Ips = 0.5 Kn (VGs -VTN), VDD= 5 V, RL= 2 kN, K = 1 mA/V², VTN

= 1V. You can ignore ra of the MOSFET. Cc is the input coupling capacitor, you can assume that C is infinitely large. a) Derive an expression for the transistor bias point VGSQ as a function of VDD, Ra and Rp b) Determine the required ratio Ra/Rp such that the MOSFET gm =1 mA/V² c) What is the voltage bias point of the output Vout? (If you cannot calculate a numerical answer, leave the answer in terms of the given circuit parameter values Ra and Rp.), instead use the results from part(b) d) Draw the small-signal model for the amplifier and calculate the gain Av= (Vout/Vin) Clearly label the component values and the small-signal voltages Vin and V out.Use the results from part(b).
