Question

.. A fire of a constant heat release rate, 1 MW, is burning in a room. There is a mechanical smoke extraction of the flow rate 0.25kg/s to exact the smoke to the outside and one opening that enables fresh air to flow in. The temperature and pressure of the outside air are 20°C and 100000Pa, respectively. The specific heat for the smoke and air is same and constant, 1kJ/kg K.The walls, ceiling and floor of the room is adiabatic. Calculate the temperature of the smoke on the outlet, when all the flows of the smoke and air are steady.
