You have been asked to contribute to a documentation package for the customer of a transformer

power monitoring system. Carry out the following experiments in the laboratory and produce a

report:

A) In a timing circuit for measuring power output of a transformer, a square wave is made

from combining sine waves of different harmonics. Using MATLAB, create a square wave

of 480Hz and show the component waves using screen shots from MATLAB, with

descriptions. Ensure the frequencies and amplitudes are identified and describe how the

complex wave is formed.
