After reading your report presented in Assessment 3, the directors have decided to

'Implement cross-departmental teams to improve communication towards achieving

organizational goals'.

Although the advantages of cross-departmental collaboration are many, you are aware that

getting different teams, who have unique ways of working, to act together is going to be

challenging. You therefore decide to take one step at a time in implementing this new work

culture.

Your first step will be to introduce this new concept to the heads of all departments through

a recorded presentation which is accessible to the departmental heads 24/7 to fit around

their busy schedules.

Your presentation will cover the following questions:

o Explain what cross-departmental collaboration is.

o List the benefits of having cross- departmental teams.

o Explain the challenges with cross-departmental teams.

o Provide tips for cross-departmental work-utilising modern technology.

o Explain how important good leadership is in cross-departmental teams.
