In case we aren't all on the same page, in the Matrix, human beings are hooked up to machines and these machines simulate reality for the humans. That is, while the humans are hooked up to machines (which are using their energy) the machines give the humans hallucinations to make them believe they are out and in the world. How do you know that we are not currently hooked up to machines? Can we know that we are not in a simulation or the Matrix? . Please write two paragraphs responding to this question.
