store that sells bikes from Unit 2 and take this model and expand into the

physical database model. When expanding into the physical database model,

do keep in mind database normalization and finalize this model with

attribute data types to prepare for writing Data Definition Language (DDL)

which would be needed to physically create tables in a real database

driven by SQL.

Based on research, there could be variations based on the source on what

types of information to include in a physical database model. For this

class, think of a physical database model to include entities along with

attributes with primary and foreign keys as connection points for the

relationships among the entities/tables. This model will also include

attribute data types.

Ideally, Microsoft Visio should be used but using other drawing and design

software is welcome. A good example of other drawing software would be ERD

When using Microsoft Visio, upload and attach the Microsoft Visio file

itself and when using other drawing software like ERD Plus, take a screen

capture of the physical database model, and paste it into a Microsoft Word
