Assignment Overview: Developmental Interviews The assignment entails conducting interviews with four individuals from different age groups to explore their recollections and experiences from early infancy to young adulthood. Each interviewee must fall within specific birthdate ranges: (a) born between 1930 and 1950, (b) born between 1951 and 1970, (c) born between 1971 and 1985, and (d) born between 1986 and 1995. Interviews should cover various aspects of development including early memories, play, school experiences, peer relationships, and developmental transitions. Following the interviews, students are required to write a paper summarizing insights gathered. The paper should consist of five sections: Individual summaries for each interview (approximately 2-3 pages each). A final section (approximately 2-3 pages) addressing common themes across the interviews, influences, etc. Key Requirements: Interview questions will be provided as a guide. Use pseudonyms or initials to refer to interviewees. Divide the paper into five sections as specified. Comment on turning points, developmental milestones, and the influence of world events. Demonstrate connections between interviews and course concepts. Each interview section should cover memories from early childhood, middle childhood, adolescence, and very early adulthood. Address specific questions in the final section regarding the influence of theories of individual and family development, theories of learning and personal development, and genetic, biological, neurological, and physiological factors in development. Interview Questions: Questions cover various age ranges and developmental stages from infancy to young adulthood. They include inquiries about early memories, family life, school experiences, changes in relationships, and significant life events. Note: No need of real interview, you can make it up you are not going to answer the interview questions and write them, you are just going to use them as a guide. You will write a paper summarizing insights gathered from your interviews. Your written paper based on the interviews is the only thing you will submit for this assignment. Please refer to your interviewees by the letter of their first name or by pseudonym only in your paper.
