Question

A new island, Blue Bird Island, was recently developed and is now subject to evaluations.Out of 10 houses, 5 were selected because they were closest to the airport. Calculate and answer the following: a) i (sample mean) b) Five-number summary (let the min and max exclude outliers) c) Construct a boxplot from the original data (don't forget units) d) Z-scores for each resident (use population for comparison, read: use u and o in z-score formula) e) The HHA states in their bylaws that any house that is 2 standard deviations below the population mean will be fined 10,000 bells (some weird currency), and any house below 3 standard deviations will be fined 50,000 bells. Who is getting fined and by how much? f) Do you have any issues with the sampling method used? g) Bonus (+1): When this sampled is added into the population, how will the population measures of center change?
