Length and Structure: Aims: The aim of this type of work is to produce a short animation film to present clearly and concisely to a lay audience with a basic understanding of biology a complex biochemical/metabolic topic. Content: It is expected that the film will follow scientific accuracy and it will be clear enough for a member of the public to understand. The target audience is an intelligent layperson with a basic understanding of biology. Length: The animation should range between 120 to 180 seconds in length. References: Add last clip in the animation for references in Harvard style referencing. As you might know, animation is collection of sequential photographs and put them together with audio to play as a video. Rubric for Bio-animation: Subject Knowledge (biochemical accuracy): All the information included is clear, appropriate, correct and engaging. Originality and literature sourced in terms of logical progression of Bio- Animation: The work shows significant evidence of ideas that are fresh, original, and inventive. A wide range of various sources are included. Conciseness, Creativity, and technical aspects (Multimedia): The Bio- Animation product demonstrates a high level of conciseness, creativity and technical expertise.
