When I read about the PAUSE framework, I realized that it is a framework which is quite useful and gives us a different perspective on things. It allows one to be more open about their situation and as such allows one to have more options in terms of decision making. This framework allows for an approach which is less reactive. The most impressive aspect about this framework is its ability to allow its users to have a logical mindset (Fettigma, 1970). I could have used this framework in the past, when I was working on fitness. I had a perception that most trainers force you to take supplements so as to make profits and thus I avoided consulting any trainer regarding my dietary requirements, had I looked at this situation from a different perspective using this framework and not stereotyped all trainers as supplement sellers, I would have probably benefited from the advice of a professional trainer. I could use it in the future in any situation, in my daily life, wherein I could analyze my situation, any issue, any challenge and make my decision keeping in mind different perspectives.
