DELIVERABLE 5: Geotechnical Site Investigation

The permanent home for your sustainable home is in the

Arboretum, so you will need to analyze the effect of your

structural loads on the soils at the Arboretum. Your first

geotechnical deliverable is to develop your soil profile,

summarize your necessary laboratory parameters for your site

(including the infiltration parameters, friction angle, compaction

maximum dry unit weight and optimum water content, Atterberg

limits, and USCS classification of the Arboretum soil), and

determine your geologic profile, which includes all possible

hazards on your site. All of your laboratory data has been

uploaded to Canvas already.
