ion dimensional requirements.

Coupler link length:

The distance between C and D = The first digit of your ID from the right (in cm). If it is 0 then make it

10.

Position 1:

The angular position (orientation) - The second digit of your ID from the right (in rad). If it is Othen

make it 3. The location as you wish.

• Position 2:

The angular position - The third digit of your ID from the right (in rad). If it is 0 then make it 2. The

location as you wish.

• Position 3:

The angular position = The fourth digit of your ID from the right (in rad). If it is 0 then make it 1. The

location as you wish.

Figure 1. Hypothetical three positions. Use your ID specific numbers as above

Required tasks:

1. Use your drawing kit and find the position of the two ground hinges.

2. Take photos of your work step-by-step and paste them in a word file. Must show your ID in each

photo.

3. Save all of your design work as a PDF file.

4. Use the final photo as a background in the linkage software.

5. Build all links and simulate the mechanism. Fine adjust as needed. The mechanism should pass

the three positions.

6. Upload the two files (the pdf and the linkage) to the BB HW2 assignment./nFirst digit 0 14:35
