Dynamic viscosity of mixtures is expressed in terms of some of its constituents' properties and flow

conditions. A liquid filled with air bubbles is sheared in a flow cell between two parallel walls as

shown in Figure 3. It is known that the dynamic viscosity of this mixture µm is a function of the

dynamic viscosity of water pw, water density pw, pressure difference between air and water Ap,

velocity U, and spacing h; i.e. µm = f (Pw, Pw, Ap, U, h).
