1. STEP 1: Choose a Topic

List the topic you have chosen for your writing assignment in the box.

2. STEP 2: Brainstorm

In the Spokes diagram on the next page, brainstorm your topic.

You do not need to fill every box, but you should at least list 4 supporting ideas./n3. STEP 3: Organize and Outline

Look back at your brainstorm. Select the three points you want to discuss in your paragraph. The points

should be broad so that you have a clear support with a concrete example. Create your outline in the space

below. You should not write in complete sentences.
