It does NOT require outside research and outside research is strongly discouraged. Responses should not be just a description of the building, but an analysis of its form, space, play of light, structural expression, function, use of materials, etc. Students should ask themselves how the design choices of the architect are be demonstrated in the building. The assignment should be formatted as a short essay of 400-500 words with a clear thesis statement. Responses will be run through SafeAssign, a plagiarism detection tool.
