Instructions Need to use google earth software Delineate the watershed to the yellow pin provided in the KMZ file attached (Big Dalton Watershed: Big Dalton Reservoir.kmz Download Big Dalton Reservoir.kmz.) You can use Google Earth, AutoCAD or Micro station. (Remember to scale the drawing accordingly). Calculate the following parameters: Watershed Area (acres and sq miles) Watershed Length (ft and miles) Watershed Slope Channel Length Channel Slope Elongation Ratio (explain what the value means) Delineate the watershed in Google Earth use this link to bring in the topography: http://www.earthpoint.us/TopoMap.aspx (Links to an external site.) To help with the delineation here is a PDF so you can sketch by hand: BigDalton.pdfBigDalton.pdf Submit a full size PDF of your watershed with the topo and delineation.
