KV5001 UG CIS Semester 2: Summative writing assessment SUMMATIVE WRITING TASK Using the sources used in class (listed below), write a short essay of 400 words (5-7 paragraphs) in formal academic style on the following question: AI and automation may create huge unemployment; they are a social disaster waiting to happen. Discuss. Instructions: Make sure to answer the question fully, not just describe the topic or paraphrase the texts (critical thinking). Support your discussion with evidence from the texts we read in class – you should cite a minimum of four of the sources. Use ONLY the sources provided – do not use other sources. You will need to paraphrase and summarise relevant information from the texts using your own words, sentence structures, and text organization – include citations.
