Literary Research Outline:

Use the attached Outline Sample for format guidance only--not topic or strategy--since your

literary research topic should focus on literary analysis, not argumentation. To achieve this

goal, you will select one of the listed stories or poems from our weekly readings. You do not

have to follow this format, but the format should help you as a template.

After you had collected and read the selected articles or sources-5 required-that you are

going to use to support your literary research thesis, make an outline (based on the proper

MLA-9 format -- see the attached outline) and upload it here. Remember your outline should

include your one-sentence thesis statement and should also point to the main ideas and the

specific support.

You do not need to include any quotations or in-text credits in this outline, just the specific

ideas and the last name of their authors if listed.
